How this calculator works

Each percentage is applied to the result of the previous step.

This is useful for sequential price changes, repeated growth or decline, stacked markdowns and any workflow where the base changes after each step.

Example: −20%, +10%, −5%

Starting at 100 gives 80, then 88, then 83.6. The effective overall change is −16.4%, not −15%.
